August Events in St. Louis

August brings on the end of summer-long events, as well as the beginning of many new and exciting things to do! See below for some of Explore St Louis’ must-do activities before summer ends.

100th PGA Championship - The PGA Championship is coming to Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri, from August 6 to 12, 2018. Be there in-person to watch one of the strongest players in golf compete for the coveted Wanamaker trophy in the 100th edition of this historic Major. For golf fans, this is a must-do!

Blues At The Arch - The National Blues Museum and Gateway Arch Park Foundation are once again teaming up to bring the third-annual, free concert series: Blues at the Arch! This four week series begins on Friday, August 3 and continues every Friday night throughout August. Local restaurants, food trucks and drink vendors will be available. What could be better than food, drinks and free music

Festival of Nations – Tower Grove Park is hosting the region’s premier multicultural celebration. The event will be featuring over 40 ethnic food booths, non-stop music and more! The festival takes place on August 25 and 26.

Flora Borealis at the Missouri Botanical Garden - Beginning at dusk each night, Flora Borealis visitors will embark on a one-mile journey through iconic garden locations transformed through a combination of lights, moving images and sounds that bring the garden to life like never before. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for all ticket holders to stroll the garden grounds until sunset, explore the Biergarten and enjoy family-friendly activities before your Flora Borealis experience begins.
