July Pet of the Month
Every month, The Residences at Forest Park Hotel honors one resident’s pet with the Pet of the Month title. Residents submit their pets to be chosen and create biographies about their pets to share with their neighbors.
July’s Pet of the Month award was given to Ted E. Bear, resident Eric Williams’ dog.
Hi, I am Ted E. Bear, but you can call me Ted for short. I was born and raised in North Carolina for a few years before my dad, Eric, adopted me when I was four years old and landed a job in St. Louis shortly after. He is a Pharmaceutical Rep for dogs and cats (which is how we found each other). After chewing on it for a while, I decided to make the big move with him.
So far, I am enjoying life in the ‘Lou. When I was two years old, I had an accident and had to have my right rear leg amputated. But I do not let that hold me back from living life to the fullest! You can find me relaxing at Forest Park, hiking on trails or socializing at a local patio bar. About a month ago, we moved into The Residences at Forest Park Hotel, so you can now catch me at the dog park. I will usually be sitting with my human friends getting snuggles. If you scratch my head or feed me (my two favorite things in life), we can probably be best friends! Feel free to say hi to me and my dad as we are browsing around the building. We are always down to hang out and share a beer. For more smiles, feel free to follow me on Instagram @tedthetripod. Cheers!
